I have implemented an interactive engineering showcase to the portfolio. It is a 3D interactive model of a die extrusion machine that I designed and built myself.

Key Features

• Interactive Controls: You can control the speed of the machine and see the effects in real time. You can also speed up the RPM and see the growth of the rubber profile in real time.
• Telemetry: You can see the pressure in real time and how it changes with the RPM. There is also a line graph that shows the pressure over time.
• Safety Features: There are safety features such as a red button that stops the machine and cuts the rubber profile from the die. Another feature is the pressure stop button that stops the machine if the pressure exceeds 450 BAR. If the RPM is too low, the rubber will not be extruded properly and will detach from the die. You can also start the machine again by pressing the green button.

This is not a flow simulation but rather an informational showcase of the mechanics behind an extrusion machine. A little bit of insight into what once was my specialization - extrusion technology.
